Thank you for visiting this website for School for Life at the Kul-Kul Campus. Please use this portal to start your exploration of the School and discover more about our vibrant holistic curriculum, our commitment to sustainability, our lush and spectacular campus, and the inspiring example of our founders, John and Cynthia Hardy.

You might want to start by taking a virtual tour of the School’s setting, which offers images of our campus as it unfolds on the beautiful island of Bali in the hands of master architects, builders, and landscape designers using a blend of cutting-edge technology with traditional materials to create an environment in which children will learn to think and create to their fullest. You will see that one of the School’s central features is a stunning bridge that spans the Ayung River, an appropriate symbol for what we aim to achieve at School for Life: connecting learning with creativity; environmental responsibility with scientific knowledge; respect for the self with respect for a wide variety of cultures. In short, our community’s dynamic alloy of teachers, students, and their families are committed not just to acquiring an education, but to living it.

School for Life at the Kul-Kul Campus was planned and constructed within the concept that education consists of more than ‘school’. In addition to the classrooms, athletic facilities, student and faculty housing, and numerous other buildings, an integral feature of our school is the Learning Village. In this specialized setting, our students have the chance to apply lessons to specific disciplines and real business situations, making abstract ideas come to practical life with results they can witness on a daily basis. Students are involved in everything from manufacturing their own chocolate to helping to manage the organic fields, bamboo plantations, and rice paddies that are integral to the campus. By working with dedicated teachers and experienced professionals, students solve problems while developing entrepreneurial skills that will inform and empower them to become the leaders of their generation.

I hope our website conveys our innovative curriculum, magical environment, and the sincere warmth and commitment of our founders, faculty, and staff. But there is no substitute for walking the grounds and meeting the people who make the School so special. Pleasevisit us in Bali and see for yourself!  We would be delighted to explore ways you can weave the School for Life into your children’s and your family’s lives. Once you’re here, we are confident you will witness a unique learning environment where individual gifts are nurtured within a deeply responsive community that enables our students to achieve their richest potential.

Yours truly,

Brad Choyt
Director
